Martello Tower + My Favorites
A round gun tower with remarkable views from Ferry Point, dating to 1823. The tower was designed so that should the gunpowder storage explode, the roof would blow off, leaving the walls intact.

St Peter’s Church is widely believed to be the oldest Anglican church still in use in the Western hemisphere. The original church dates to 1612, while much of the present building dates to 1713. The first meeting of Bermuda’s government was held here in 1620. In back of the church is a cedar tree dating to the 1500s. Address: Duke of York Street, St George’s Parish

Fort St Catherine + My Favorites
Originally built by Bermuda’s first governor in 1612 and rebuilt many times, the current fort dates to the late 19th century. The fort houses a museum, a collection of antique weapons, and exhibits of Bermuda’s history.
